"Brand" New 3D

This project was part of a visual design class where I experimented with 3D modeling and animation using Blender. The goal was to create a fun and engaging 3D scene for the client Dopper, transforming their landing page. I chose the back-to-school period. The challenge was to create a concept, styleboard, and use a design language that would fit the brand and enhance their branding for the season. I believe the creative process for the concept, although sometimes it may take a lot of brain juice and effort, is the key to an effective story. After much ideation and I arrived at the fact that Dopper bottles' iconic shape does look like a graduation cap. Integrating this playfully, I created a "Dopper College" where single-use plastic bottles are educated and graduate as Dopper bottles. This was my first real experience with 3D modeling and animation. I worked hard on crafting every single object in the scene and creating the composition. I learned a lot about the essentials such as lighting, materials, textures, rendering and animation but also technical aspects like geometry nodes and particle systems by challenging myself.
